I don't know if it is me or this CD? I can't get it to play at all. All i get is a encrypted notepad notice.

Thanks for your feedback on the Vital Information CD from Deer & Deer Hunting.
If you're on a PC, have you tried going to Windows Explorer (Start - Programs -Accessories - Windows Explorer); then My Computer; then your Disc Drive. You should see a file named, "START HERE." That file should open to the Digital Menu as a .PDF in Adobe Acrobat.
Please let us know if this resolves the issue - and how you liked the product after you've opened it.

I absolutely get lost in the information, and I mean that in a good way, there is a ton of information in this CD. Every camp should have one, and if you don't have a computer at the cabin, have somebody bring a laptop.
per the review of the guy who couldn't open it, make sure you have Quicktime, which is free. if you have Quicktime, it works fine, I'm sure the guy who couldn't get it to play simply had a Quicktime issue.
If you run a hunter education course, you definitely will be using this the rest of your career in your class.
also don't get hung up on the videos, that's not the highlight, it's in the PDFs, that's where the information is. the Vital Information thing works well but the pictures of anatomy are more important.
watch out for that scapula!

Just received my copy of the Vital Information CD. Wow, I wish they would have had this years ago. I have been hunting whitetails for more than 20 years and thought I knew a lot. Well, there is a lot I didn't know! I think this will be a great tool for our camp when we are trying to decide when and when not to blood trail our deer. The re-creation of the angles with the computer deer is going to be VERY helpful. A+

I almost didn't buy it because of the cost, but I am now glad I did. My hunting partner and I split the difference and we are going to share it throughout the season. There is so much information packed on this disc, it is almost hard to believe. A good value for what you get.

Deer & Deer Hunting has once again proven to me that they are the #1 deer hunting resource. No one provides more scientifically proven deer hunting insight than these guys. Vital Information is another great example of this. Really awesome interactive cd with some good videos and really great info on a variety of subjects related to deer anatomy. Definitely something I would recommend to any hunter trying to gain a better understanding of deer and how to hunt them.

This CD is a must for any hunter from first timer to seasoned veteran. I have a great assortment of video, interactive animation, pictures and information ranging from anatomical issues, the physiology or the whitetail and practical in the field knowledge. The scientific information will broaden your knowledge about the animal we all love so much and the field information is something we can use prior to and after the shot. I have used this on many occasions already to educate new hunters and clarify misconceptions. This is a must for all hunters.

Received one day past. Was seriously disappointed. Most all the information contained can be found on internet sources if you are willing to take the time. Would like to return it but my ethics will not permit it
